Aegerine is a dark green-to-black sodium iron silicate mineral, part of the pyroxene group, that often forms as long, prismatic or needle-like crystals. Feldspar is a group of common rock-forming minerals, typically white or light-colored, that form in a wide range of igneous and metamorphic rocks. When found together, they create a striking contrast; aegerine’s dark, lustrous crystals often grow on or are embedded in a lighter-colored feldspar matrix. 
 
Aegirine's spiritual meaning revolves around clearing negativity, promoting transformation, and strengthening self-worth. It is known as a "stone of light" that helps dissolve negative emotional patterns like shame, guilt, and blame, clearing spiritual residue and helping one find clarity and inner strength. Aegirine also aids in repairing the aura and provides protection.
